A classic looking gaff-rigged sloop with a shallow draught, that is perfect for exploring creeks and coastal inlets and sails well in light airs. The hull design originates from the traditional working sailing boats of the North West and Scottish coastlines. These traditional Day Boats can comfortably accommodate up to 7 adults under sail or motor.
Over the past few years this boat has been professionally re-fitted to a higher specification than new, including: new spruce mast and bowsprit from Collars, new iroko gunwhales and custom seating, new iroko rudder and tiller, new custom teak gratings, new running and standing rigging, new sails, a new jib furling system and a professionally copper-coated hull amongst many other upgrades.
The owner has spent in the region of £20,000 upgrading the boat and as a recent valuation stated: "the only way to replace this boat on a like-for-like basis would be to buy a brand new one and then start upgrading it!"
