Seakers of Weymouth is delighted to present for sale this 1978, Fin Keel, Moody 30 in excellent condition. The current owner has sailed her on the South Coast and regularly to France and Holland pre-COVID. She benefits from the heavy layup of this early build design and with her high flared prow and wheel steering is a "dry boat" to sail.

The boat has benefitted from a major refit in 2018-9 including: new headlinings throughout, new Calorifier and Pressurised Hot and Cold Water System, new Diesel Heater, new Batteries (some wiring replaced), new Running Rigging, new Jam Cleats, new Sail Drive Seal, Rudder Gland repacked, new Exhaust Hose, new Lazyjacks and Sailbag, Electric Bilge Pump, Standing Rigging inspected. In addition, the Standing Rigging was replaced in 2015, new Two-Speed Winches (x2) fitted in 2015 and the Sails were valeted and serviced in 2021.

The boat is stored out of the water every winter and there is a July 2020 survey available for inspection.

Entry to the boat is via the Side-Decks and then the Cockpit which comprises ample seating, Wheel Steering and Instruments with a substantial Sprayhood in Blue Canvas. The Side Decks, with Stainless Steel rails, give easy and safe access to the Foredeck, from where the Anchor is controlled with the (manual) Windlass.

Entry to the cabin is through a central door and down 3 steps with the Galley (Gimballed Neptune Gas Twin Burner Hob, Grill and Oven, Cooler and Sink) to Port, whilst to Starboard is a Quarter Berth and Navagation Station. Further forward is the Main Seating area and Table which converts to a Double and Single Berth. In the Bow of the boat is a V-Berth with insert to convert to a Double and the Heads Compartment (with Manual Lavac Toilet).
